Gang Gang Dance are in town this weekend playing two shows.
The first:
The second is at Cargo the day after, Sunday the 29th of June. Its being put on by the ever amazing Upset The Rhythm and has support from High Life, (on The Social Registry)

Some very exciting sounds are coming out of the Gang Gang Dance camp at the moment. Apparently their follow up album to ‘God’s Money’ is in the mastering suite right now and they are readying a worldwide release for October. I can’t imagine it being anything but the unimaginable. With half of the world, and the whole of Brooklyn, ripping of their last style I’m sure they’ll be taking us down a wonderful new path.
Anyway, if you want to try and catch a glimpse of what they’re doing, check out them playing live at South Paw (30th of April 2008.) It’s got a few new tracks on it and is sounding bloody brilliant.
