It’s free for students before midnight, drinks are cheap and Mike Simonetti of everyone’s favourite Troubleman/ Italians Do It Better will be spinning discs. Sounds like a real good party to me.

Ferry's Illustrated Review (#1)06 July 2008 Ferrys-Illustrated-Review
We’re really excited to have all round great guy Ferry Gouw of the band Semifinalists join our ranks here. Ferry is a pretty multi talented guy, well known not only for his music but for his wonderful videos and artwork too.
The idea behind ‘Ferry’s Illustrated Review’ is to give you Ferry’s take on a track, not with words, but with… an illustration. Its painfully simple but I still manged to cock up the explanation. Anyway, I’m sure you’ve already worked it all out and as the whole point of this is that it doesn’t need words, I (Caius) promise to never write a boring intro again.

Holy Fuck had the luck to get asked to play Synch Festival in Athens, Greece.
The festival’s line up was absolutely stellar, and if I have half a reason I’ll probably go next year. Till then I’ve been left with these pretty incredible images, enjoy:

Primavera (Friday night) 2008 - Probably the greatest moment of my life02 June 2008 Holy-Fuck
I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Primavera Sound, (Barcelona,) this year. Not only is it the best festival I’ve ever been to (line up, venue, city, crowd, atmosphere, etc etc) but there were also two Young Turks acts playing: the hometown hero, El Guincho and Holy Fuck.
I’m planning on writing up a full review of the festival a bit later but for now I’ll leave you with the photo story of what was one of the most phenomenal festival shows I’ve ever seen, Holy Fuck at Primavera 2008:
