Shaq vs Kobe (just hotted up)24 June 2008
As well as English Sportsmen do depraved, soulless and morally bankrupt, they really don’t have anything on their NBA counterparts when it comes to beef.
The following is the equivalent of Wayne Rooney getting on the mic and cussing down Steven Gerrard, whilst out in some Chester funky house club:
Shaq Attacks Kobe: You Ruined My Marriage!
(If you don’t really understand whats going on: Kobe and Shaq (2 of the greatest players of all time,) used to be team mates at the LA Lakers. They won 3 straight NBA Titles: 2000, 2001 and 2002 but still managed to hate each other throughout. Since Shaq fled LA, to get away from Kobe, he’s only won 1 title, whilst Kobe has won NONE. This looked to have changed this year, as the Lakers got to the finals, only for Kobe (who’d already been award MVP, aka player of the year,) to flop out and the Lakers to lose 4-2 to the Boston Celtics. Obviously Shaq, especially because of this, was extremely happy about this, hence the video.)
Anyway, I’m not here to take sides but to marvel at quite how amazing both the situation and these men, as players, (certainly not as humans,) are.
